The following websites are excellent sources of information
pertaining to real-time operating system (RTOS) and network
software for embedded systems.
We are proud of our reputation for quality, reliability and service
as attested by the following media excerpts:

There are other hidden pleasures of the [Palm]Pilot for those
who are knowledgeable about embedded systems. Nosing around on the web
leads to a plethora of information. Nose around with the freeware
debugger you got from the web and you discover a copyright notice.
It seems that our simple Pilot is running a real-time OS from KADAK!
(A small diversion here: I've been covering the embedded beat for nine
years or so. In that time I've heard complaints, both significant
and trivial, about embedded software companies, both good and bad.
I have wracked my brain, but I've been unable to recall a single
reader complaint about KADAK in all that time.
As a columnist, it is much easier to write about companies
that have screwed up than about companies that are quietly providing
working products. ...)

As an example, consider a recent message in comp.realtime. In general,
this section of Usenet is (understandably) biased in favor of those
with UNIX experience, and often the comments on operating systems
tend to display this bias. But the other day, mixed in with the
favorable comments on VxWorks, QNX, and the like, was a message about
a low-cost real-time kernel. In response to a call for information on
real-time multitasking under DOS, a user of AMX boasted that his
company had used the product for years and had never had any problems
with it. In particular, this poster saluted Kadak's technical support,
which his company had found to be "quick, competent, and helpful,
a rare combination".
