KADAK's AMX RTOS and KwikNet Network Products
Support the Motorola MCF5272
VANCOUVER, CANADA - November 15, 2001 - KADAK Products Ltd.
today announced support for the Motorola MCF5272
ColdFire® processor.
KADAK's AMXTM RTOS now includes
board support for the Motorola M5272C3 Development Board. The
board has been used to test KADAK's
KwikNet® Ethernet device
driver for the Motorola MCF5272 Fast Ethernet Controller (FEC)
operating at 10 or 100Mbps with KADAK's KwikNet TCP/IP Stack.
MCF5272 support is available now for software development using
either Metrowerks or Diab-SDS tools. This announcement demonstrates
KADAK's continuing strong commitment to developers using the
ColdFire processor family in embedded designs. All of KADAK's RTOS
and network products are provided with a royalty-free site license
which includes source code.
The AMX real-time multitasking kernel (RTOS) is used in time
critical medical, telecommunication, data acquisition, industrial
control, robotics and aerospace applications. AMX will also be
found at the heart of many hand-held devices such as the
PalmPilotTM connected organizer.
