KADAK's AMX RTOS and KwikNet Network Products
Support the Motorola MPC8260 PowerQUICC II
VANCOUVER, CANADA - February 3, 2000 -- KADAK Products Ltd. today
announced support for the MPC8260 PowerQUICC II.
Its AMX RTOS for the PowerPC now includes board support
for the EST Corp. SBC8260 Single Board Computer.
The board has been used to test KADAK's Ethernet device driver
for the Motorola MPC8260 Fast Communications Controller (FCC).
The driver provides Ethernet service at 10 or 100Mbps on any of
the three FCC channels.
MPC8260 support is available now. All of KADAK's RTOS and network products
are provided with a royalty-free site license which includes source code.
This announcement demonstrates KADAK's continuing strong commitment
to developers using the PowerPC processor family in embedded designs.
The recent additions to KADAK's PowerPC support listed below are evidence
of the depth of this commitment.

With support from KADAK, EST Corp. has added AMX task-aware support
to its visionCLICK Debugger for the PowerPC. Of particular interest to
AMX users is its task execution tracing capability.

All KADAK software products have been updated to include support for
the growing list of PowerPC variants. The AMX Configuration Manager
includes support for all of the exceptions found in these processors,
including the MPC7400 AltiVec assist exception. |

Ethernet device drivers for the MPC860 SCC and MPC860T FEC are ready
for use with KADAK's KwikNet TCP/IP Stack. |

KADAK now supports the Metrowerks software development tools
for the PowerPC. |

The Aisys DriveWay-MPC8XX Series 3DE (Device Driver Design Environment)
supports AMX for PowerPC. |

The Diab-SDS SingleStep Source-Level Debugger is fully AMX-aware when
used with KADAK's KwikLook Fault Finder. |
