KADAK's AMX RTOS, KwikPeg GUI and KwikNet Network Products
Support the MIPS32 Architecture
VANCOUVER, CANADA - June 11, 2001 -- KADAK Products Ltd. today
announced the availability of its
AMXTM Real-Time Multitasking
Kernel (RTOS), KwikPegTM GUI
and KwikNet® TCP/IP Stack
targeted for the MIPS32TM
family of processors from MIPS Technologies, Inc. and its partners.
The AMX real-time multitasking kernel (RTOS) is used in time
critical medical, telecommunication, data acquisition,
industrial control, robotics and aerospace applications.
AMX will also be found at the heart of many hand-held devices
such as the PalmPilotTM
connected organizer.
KADAK's KwikNet TCP/IP Stack enables the embedded system
developer to add networking features to products with a
minimum of time and expense. KwikNet includes support for
the TCP, UDP, IP, ICMP, ARP and DHCP (BOOTP) protocols and
includes SLIP and Ethernet network drivers.
Optional KwikNet components are available for
PPP, FTP, SNMP, HTTP and Telnet.
The KwikPeg Graphical User Interface (GUI) provides the
software interface required to add graphics to embedded
products which incorporate any of KADAK's RTOS or
network components. KwikPeg is especially suited for hand-held
devices with their small LCD displays.
AMX, KwikNet and KwikPeg support the
High C/C++TM tools
from MetaWare®.
In addition, KADAK's KwikLook Fault Finder
adds complete AMX kernel awareness to the MetaWare
SeeCodeTM Debugger to
simplify application testing.
