KwikNet Web Server Makes Embedded Devices Accessible via Internet
KADAK adds Web Server and Virtual File System
to its KwikNet Family of Network Products
VANCOUVER, CANADA -- November 1, 1998 -- KADAK Products Ltd. today
announced the availability of its KwikNet Web Server for use on a
wide range of target processors.
KADAK's KwikNet Web Server allows you to easily add web based
management to your embedded products, even if memory is limited.
KwikNet's Universal File System interface allows the Web Server
to access KADAK's AMX/FS File System or MS-DOS.
Alternatively, the KwikNet Virtual File System (VFS),
with its file compression, can eliminate the need for a
conventional file system, further reducing memory requirements.
Add the KwikNet Web Server and your product becomes accessible
worldwide from your favourite web browser.
Server-Side Includes (SSI) support is standard so that your
product can dynamically adapt its response to suit changing
needs or operating conditions. The CGI interface provides access,
via the VFS, to embedded services unique to your application.
The KwikNet Virtual File System permits access to virtual files
embedded within your application. Virtual files can be built using
the VFS Generator to translate and compress HTML and other text files
into standard C files which are then compiled and linked with
your application. Files which are not virtual can still be accessed
using a real file system such as AMX/FS.
The KwikNet Web Server is available now for use with KADAK's AMX RTOS and
KwikNet TCP/IP Stack. The Web Server is offered with a royalty free site
license, including source code.
