KADAK Products Ltd. has announced that the KwikNet® TCP/IP Stack and all of its options are now available for use with the Analog Devices, Inc. BlackfinTM processor and their VDK kernel (RTOS). The Analog Devices software development tools can be used within their Integrated DSP Development Environment (IDDE) on a Windows® host to create a VDK application which incorporates the KwikNet TCP/IP Stack for network support.
KwikNet has been tested and is ready for use with the Blackfin ADSP-21535 processor and VDK kernel on the Momentum Data Systems Eagle-35 Hardware Platform. KADAK's KwikNet device driver for the Intel 82559 Ethernet controller on the Eagle-35 board provides Ethernet network service at 10Mbps and 100Mbps.
The KwikNet for Blackfin TCP/IP Stack enables the embedded system developer to add networking features to DSP products with a minimum of time and expense. The process is simple. The developer describes each physical network and its device interface using the KwikNet Configuration Manager, a Windows utility which ensures that KwikNet is always properly configured for use.
Ethernet Device Drivers
KADAK has released three new Ethernet device drivers.
The KwikNet device driver for the Intel 82559 Ethernet Controller provides Ethernet service at 10Mbps and 100Mbps. Although platform independent, the driver has been tested and is ready for use with the Analog Devices Inc. Blackfin ADSP-21535 processor and their VDK kernel on the Momentum Data Systems Eagle-35 Hardware Platform.
The KwikNet device driver for the Standard Microsystems Corporation (SMSC) LAN91C111 or LAN91C113 Ethernet controller provides Ethernet service at 10Mbps and 100Mbps. Although platform independent, the driver is provided ready for use with the Analog Devices Inc. Blackfin ADSP-21535 processor with a 16-bit interface to a LAN91C113 controller.
The KwikNet device driver for the IBM PPC405GP PowerPC embedded Ethernet controller provides Ethernet service at 10Mbps and 100Mbps. Although platform independent, the driver has been tested and is ready for use on the IBM Corp. PPC405GP Reference Board.
KwikNet Ethernet device drivers are now available for:
KwikLook for Metrowerks
The KwikLook Fault Finder is now available with task-aware support for the Metrowerks CodeWarrior® Debugger. You can now use KwikLook for CodeWarrior to test AMXTM systems developed using Metrowerks tools for the 68K, ColdFire and PowerPC.
